After a long time, we have heard some words from the DevTeam who tells us about the current situation of A5 untethered JailBreak. They are aware of the fact that people are looking forward for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 JailBreak after the release of A4 devices. We have earlier seen a photo which was posted by Pod2G on his blog of a JailBroken iPad 2 and IntelliScreenX working on the same device. However, the latter came from Planetbeing who is responsible for running unsigned code on iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
DevTeam admire the work of each and every person in the dream team which had slept for few hours in the last few days. They have been trying to make it a reality as soon as possible. Apparently, they have reached in the final stages where all the thing need to be tested for the public release. When every bug in the JailBreak would be fixed, the JailBreak would come out instantly. Though, the method could be a tad different due to Command Line Interface (CLI) and Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Chronic DevTeam has gathered every flow into a GUI. On the other hand, DevTeam has implemented it through CLI. Though, the options in case of CLI are certainly more, close to 20 including the JailBreak option. Perhaps, CLI would be more useful in debugging many of the errors. So, the users would be benefited mostly in the case of CLI rather than GUI even if the steps are more than required. Anyhow, once all bugs are fixed, DevTeam will implement it in Redsn0w. Although the CLI method would remain available for people to try out. It would provide good medium to communicate between computers of different configurations.
DevTeam has also decided to make a combined account for the donation. Once they receive any donation, they would divide it equally between the team members because everyone has worked really hard. Here is the link of the paypal account of this legendary team. Please consider donating when the JailBreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is released publicly. The firmware which would support the JailBreak are: iOS 5.0, iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) and iOS 5.0.1 (9A406) for iPhone 4S and iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) for iPad 2. Let’s know if you have any doubts in the comment section. We would answer them shortly.
Stay tuned for more updates!
